
Alistair Zaldua is a violinist, free improviser, and composer and is based in Manchester, UK. He has performed in festivals and concert series’ in Bergen, Berlin, Freiburg, Havana, Free Range (Canterbury), Electric Spring (Huddersfield), Ideas of Noise (Birmingham), Tectonics Glasgow, GAS (Gothenburg), Sao Paolo, and Montevideo, amongst other venues. Alistair has played and recorded together with, amongst others, Franziska Bauman, Steve Noble, Christoph Gallio, Pascal Pons, David Birchall, and in trio with John Jasnoch and Mick Beck. Alistair organises The Noise Upstairs concert series (Manchester) with Mick Tyldesley.
Fran Comyn is an improvising drummer percussionist, and composer and is based in Rochdale. He performs and records in the North of England, and is always seeking spaces with interesting and inspiring resonances and environments. Fran has collaborated with Johnny Hunter, Nina Whiteman, David Birchall, Adam Fairhall, and Alan Wilkinson, the band Fjall, and is published by Discus Music.
