Tullis Rennie / Laptop Workshop Performance – 8 October 2009

By Rodrigo  //  Performances  //  No Comments

Tullis Rennie is an electronic musician currently based in Barcelona. He is one man with a laptop, some instruments, one very long pair of legs and some nice friends with beautiful vocal talents, all fueled with a tasty packet of biscuits. His music is a combination of haunting melodies, glimmering textures, bass swells, stuttering beats and the occasional whispering Antipodean MC.

We also have a performance by the participants of the Laptop Workshop which should be very interesting. For more information on the workshop look at the next page.

About The Noise Upstairs

The Noise Upstairs is an improv collective which runs free-improv nights in Manchester and Sheffield, as well as putting on other improv related events. The basic premise is that anyone can turn up and join in by putting their name in the hat. Names are pulled out, ensembles formed, and hearts broken.
